The Veterans Administration Clinic under the management of Carthage Area Hospital provides primary care services to the veterans in the greater Watertown area of New York State.
A health team consisting of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and clerical staff provides primary care services, stressing health maintenance and preventative medicine.

Smoking Cessation: The QuitSmart® smoking cessation program is an innovative service that combines the best of behavioral and medication treatments in a group setting.
Specialty services beyond primary care are available through the VA Healthcare Network Upstate NY at Syracuse. If you require more specialized tests your health care provider will arrange for a referral for these services at the Syracuse facility. (Some transportation services are available through a cooperative effort of the DAV and the Clinic’s own shuttle service.)
Laboratory: Blood drawing and analysis services
Prescriptions: Routine prescriptions processed on the premises.
Radiology: chest, abdominal and extremity x-rays available on premises.
