School-Based Dental Centers

A school-based dental center is available at Harrisville Central School, Beaver River Central School, Edwards-Knox Central School and Guardino Elementary School in Clayton.

What is a school-based dental center?
An in-school clinic offering dental care by a hygienist and part-time dentist.

What does it cost?
Nothing! There are no out of pocket expenses to families who use this service. Private insurance companies, Medicaid and Child Health Plus will be billed.

When is the clinic open?
During normal school hours at set times during the school year. Contact your local school for weeks available.

What services are provided?
Cleanings, sealants and fillings are done at the school. Major work is provided at the CAH Professional Building.
