Carthage Area Hospital Department of Rehabilitative Services is an outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy facility. Our mission is to provide expert level, quality care to our patients while constantly striving to be an inspiration through independence, continuous growth, and community outreach.
All of our Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants are licensed and registered in New York State. We provide a wide variety of services to treat a multitude of impairments. Some of the services we offer are rehabilitation of neurological, orthopedic, post-surgical, balance, and musculoskeletal disorders. This includes back, neck, upper and lower extremity injuries. We have therapists that specialize in Myofascial Release, Management of Lymphedema, McKenzie Techniques, and Manual Therapy.
With individualized treatments for each patient we strive for Excellence in Community Health Care.

Staff:
Robin Malone, PT (Director of Therapy Services)
Robin received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from California State University at Long Beach in 1983. He specializes in outpatient orthopedic services and has specialized training in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment.
Laura Scott, PTA
Laurie received her PTA degree in 2000 from SUNY Canton. She specializes in Myofascial Release and Manual Therapy. Laurie also has specialized training in the area of Kinesiotaping.
Katrina Nortz, PT, DPT, CLT
Katrina received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in 2003 and her Doctoral Degree in 2007. She specializes in assessment and management of Lymphedema.
Diane Lane, PT, DPT
Diane Lane received her Doctoral Degree from University of Buffalo in 2005. Diane has specialized training in assessment and treatment of orthopedic injuries and manual therapeutic techniques.
Joshua Mannigan, PTA
Josh received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Utica College in 2005. Josh specializes in the treatment of orthopedics.
Cheryl Toussant, PT, DPT
Cheryl received her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Clarkson University in 2009. Cheryl specializes in assessment & treatment of outpatient orthopedics.
Shawna Sias, PTA
Shawna received her PTA degree from SUNY Canton in 2009 and is a welcome new addition to our staff.
Krista Wohnsiedler, COTA
Krista received her degree as an Occupational Therapist Assistant from SUNY Canton in 2006. Krista has specialized training in hand rehabilitation.
Tammy Perez, OTR/L
Tammy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in 1998. She specializes in upper extremity rehabilitation and cognitive retraining.
